RugGear has joined the OnGo Alliance as an Adopter Member

It is a great honor to announce that RugGear has joined to become one of the OnGo Alliance members. Together with OnGo, RugGear will promote the development of Band 48, which belongs to the CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) which covers the 150-MHz-spectrum from 3.55 to 3.7 GHz in the US.

The OnGo Alliance is a collaborative industry group of over 145 companies, including mobile operators, cable operators, managed service providers (MSPs), mobile virtual network operators, enterprises and more. Its purpose is to promote the development, commercialization, and adoption of the Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS).

Working together with the members of the OnGo Alliance, there will be more possibilities to provide customers with a wider range of network services. Mobile communications based on LTE and 5G New Radio (NR) will enable mobile network operators to provide higher-quality communication service, achieving both in-building and outdoor coverage and massive expansion.

Presenting the RG540 for CBRS

RugGear joins the alliance by presenting the RG540, which supports CBRS, a 5G smart terminal for Mission Critical Communications.

This device supports the private 4G/5G network built through the CBRS spectrum, helping the digital transformation of the enterprise and public safety agencies, and providing them with secure, resilient, and high-performance mobile communication services.

CBRS Adoption is now happening everywhere, for it solves connectivity issues across education, hospitality, healthcare, retail, oil & gas, transportation and more, where connectivity is limited. Surely CBRS is paving the way for innovative wireless solutions that will shape the future of wireless.

As the foundation of a new generation of extremely important cellular technology, 5G NR will create a new area of mobile communication.

Based on this, RugGear is committed to support the development of CBRS and make greater contributions to data connectivity.
For this reason, we are looking forward to taking part in the Plugfest organized by OnGo Alliance in Dallas TX, Oct. 24-25, 2023, and work together to accelerate the development of the CBRS ecosystem.
